Trim/Siding
Homes built pre 2007 may have Masonite siding on it. Replacing this siding may be necessary due to the discontinuation of masonite siding. To begin the process the Masonite siding is carefully removed from the exterior of the home. Any damaged or rotted wood underneath the Masonite siding will be repaired or replaced before the installation of the new siding. We chose a suitable non rotting cement board siding such as Hardi Plank or Allura that matches the style of your existing siding. The new siding will be properly measured and cut to fit the exterior of the home and installed using appropriate fasteners and techniques. It is important to ensure that the new siding is properly sealed to prevent moisture penetrating the exterior of the home. A vapor barrier will be installed prior to siding installation to serve this purpose. This new siding replacement will ensure a successful and long lasting result for your home.
